CD36 and neoplasm: We also observed a strong constructive relationship between CD36 and tumor-related functional states such as stemness (r ​= ​0.03), quiescence (r ​= ​0.26), proliferation (r ​= ​0.07), metastasis (r ​= ​0.11), invasion (r ​= ​0.16), inflammation (r ​= ​0.2), hypoxia (r ​= ​0.3), EMT (r ​= ​0.14), differentiation (r ​= ​0.21), apoptosis (r ​= ​0.1), and angiogenesis (r ​= ​0.34) (Fig. 3B).
