These results suggest a strong positive correlation between the gene-body DNA methylation and expression of ONECUT2 (Fig. 1) and proposes that ONECUT2 gene-body DNA methylation may serve as a promising biomarker for PCa progression and patient prognosis, not only representing increased DNA methylation, but also indicating the potential upregulation of the gene. This evidence concerns the gene ONECUT2 and posterior cortical atrophy.
