DCSTAMP and acute myeloid leukemia: In summary, as showed in the graphical abstract in Fig 6, our results indicate that elevated DC-STAMP expression regulates PANoptosis in AML cells by activating the mTORC1 signaling pathway, leading to apoptosis resistance and drug tolerance; targeting the downstream PI3K node effectively counteracts the pro-leukemogenic effects of DC-STAMP overexpression, providing a potential therapeutic alternative for DC-STAMP–activated AML when direct targeting is technically challenging.
