We found that betaPIX knockdown attenuated glial migration (Figure 5K and L, Figure 5—figure supplement 1L–N), which is consistent with previous studies on betaPix function in the endoderm (Omelchenko et al., 2014), epithelial cells (Hsu et al., 2014), neurons (López Tobón et al., 2018), and multiple carcinoma cell lines including glioblastoma (Cheng et al., 2023; Connor et al., 2020; Ward et al., 2015). This evidence concerns the gene ARHGEF7 and carcinoma.
