Some cases may show aberrant expression of T-cell markers (CD2, CD3, CD4, or CD8), while CD10, BCL2, and BCL6 expression is infrequent, consistent with a nongerminal center origin.8,9 Our cases demonstrated these characteristic features, with Case 2 being particularly noteworthy for its background of marginal zone lymphoma, adding to the complexity of diagnosis. This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and marginal zone lymphoma.
