METTL3 and cancer: METTL3 functions as a key m6A methyltransferase in cancer [28, 29, 30]. We knocked down METTL3 in HCCLM3 and Hep3B cells (Figure 2B,C) and found that both m6A modification levels on circIST1 and circIST1 abundance were significantly reduced in METTM3‐depleted cells (Figure 2D,E).
