We found that baseline intratumoral CD8+ cytotoxic T‐cell density (Kruskal–Wallis p = 0.026; Figure 1B), stromal tumor lymphocyte infiltration (sTILs) (Kruskal–Wallis p = 0.017; Figure 1C) and combined PD‐L1 proportion score (CPS; Kruskal–Wallis p = 0.048; Figure 1E) were correlated with pathological response patterns, while no correlation could be found between PD‐L1 tumor proportion score (TPS) and pathologic response patterns (p = 0.29; Figure 1D). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is neoplasm.
