CHIP has also been causally linked to multiple forms of CVD, including coronary artery disease (CAD), heart failure (HF), stroke, and peripheral artery disease (PAD) as well as non‐vascular disease like chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and chronic liver disease (Jaiswal et al. 2017; Dorsheimer et al. 2019; Pascual‐Figal et al. 2021; Yu et al. 2021; Tan et al. 2025; Arends et al. 2023; Büttner et al. 2023). Here, STUB1 is linked to peripheral arterial disease.
