Although the sample size is relatively small, performing a GWAS using the AD status imputed by LS‐Imputation‐Transfer methods identifies several significant SNPs on chromosomes 19 and 11, while using LS‐Imputation‐Combined identifies only one significant SNP, rs429358 (Chr19:45411941 on Assembly GRCh37, p value < 2.2 × 10−16), located in the well‐established APOE locus, also identified by LS‐Imputation‐Transfer. This evidence concerns the gene APOE and Alzheimer disease.
