These genes were further filtered to satisfy differential expression conditions in HCC tissues (|log2FC| > 0.5, adjusted p < 0.05), resulting in the identification of 78 significantly prognostic genes, 52 of which were associated with poor prognosis (e.g., YBX1 (Y‐box binding protein 1), RAN, and CAP1) and 26 with favorable prognosis (e.g., CYP2C9, PON1, and CFHR1) (Figure 4c). This evidence concerns the gene CYP2C9 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
