A Jonckheere–Terpstra trend test on GSE126848 confirmed a significant monotonic increase from healthy controls to MASH patients (P = 0.049), supporting the association of LNC106435.1 with disease progression.27 Additionally, we performed immunohistochemistry to assess WEE1/p-CDK1 (Y15)/CYCLIN B1 expression in liver samples from normal individuals and patients with hepatic steatosis and MASH obtained from the clinic (Supplementary Table 2). The gene discussed is WEE1; the disease is fatty liver disease.
