Further analysis comparing multi-site and single-site PSE involvement demonstrated similar frequencies of increased serum IgA (> 255 mg/dL) (p = 0.20), increased ESR (p = 0.30), increased CRP (p = 0.74), anemia (Hb < 10 g/dL) (p = 0.72), leukocytosis (> 10,000 mm3) (p = 0.78), thrombocytosis (> 400,000 mm3) (p = 0.57) and increased ASO (> 200 UI/mL) (p = 0.62) in both groups (Table 3). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is thrombocytosis disease.
