Intravitreal anti-VEGF acts as an established treatment for macular edema in BRVO.[24,25] As prior studies evidenced, anti-VEGF contributes to ameliorated central retinal sensitivity and lowered central retinal thickness for patients with BRVO in the long term.[26,27] This patient had received anti-VEGF treatment several times. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and macular retinal edema.
