However, the axonal length was significantly reduced to 51.47 ± 4.94 μm in the C9ORF72-MO-injected embryos, even though rescued by PBS injection (Figure 2B,E), suggesting that C9ORF72 deficiency led to the strong suppression of axonal growth extension, resulting in an ALS-like phenotype (Figure 2B).
