To address this limitation and push the analysis further, we classified groups of markers into three compartments: GABAergic (GAD67, SST, PV, and VIP), synaptic (VGlut1, PSD95, Syn1, and Gephrin) and astroglia (GLT1, GFAP, and GS) and performed hubscore analysis in order to determine if the importance of each compartment in the network changed following CRS exposure. The gene discussed is SYN1; the disease is congenital rubella syndrome.
