INS and type 2 diabetes mellitus: The next study conducted by Asghari et al. in T2D patients (n = 100) co-administrated eicosapentaenoic acid—EPA (500 mg) with nano-curcumin (80 mg) for 12 weeks showed a greater reduction in insulin level [MD: −1.44 (−2.70, −0.17)], along with significant decrease in hs-CRP levels and an increase in Total Antioxidant Capacity (TAC) compared to the placebo group.
