Higher malnutrition-related complication risk was associated with elevated levels of gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) [OR 1.32, 95% CI 0.88–1.97 (p = 0.115)], and alanine-aminotransferase (ALT) [OR 1.55, 95% CI 1.06–2.25 (p = 0.029)] in hepato-biliopancreatic cancers (Supplementary Document S11, Figures S85 and S96). The gene discussed is GPT; the disease is malnutrition.
