As a main finding, our screen identified TP53 as a key sensitivity gene for CLM, with genetic TP53 deletion being the top hit and leading to relative CLM resistance in all three acute leukemia cell backgrounds tested, including K562 cells which harbor a gain-of-function TP53 point mutation (Q136P) [24] that was possibly selected against in our screening. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and acute leukemia.
