Recently, hypoxic CAFs have been revealed to enhance colorectal cancer lymphatic metastasis via C-type lectin domain containing 11A/leucine-rich repeat-containing G-protein-coupled receptor 5 (CLEC11A/LGR5)-mediated Wingless (WNT)/β-catenin signaling pathway that promotes epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and lymphangiogenesis [18]. Here, CLEC11A is linked to colorectal cancer.
