Based on the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway database, IL‐6 was found to be involved in several signaling pathways, including the AGE‐RAGE signaling pathway, rheumatoid arthritis, amoebiasis, Kaposi sarcoma‐associated herpesvirus infection, lipid and atherosclerosis, human cytomegalovirus infection, cancer, coronavirus diseases (COVID‐19), and Salmonella infection (Figures 5G, H).
