The RYR2 gene mutations are also a cause of arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC2) with clinical manifestations similar to CPVT, such as stress‐induced ventricular tachycardia, in addition to ongoing deterioration and fibro–fatty infiltration of the right ventricle. This evidence concerns the gene RYR2 and Arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia.
