A literature search (PubMed, Embase, and Google Scholar; up to August 2025) using combinations of the keywords ‘euglycaemic ketoacidosis’, ‘euDKA’, ‘SGLT2 inhibitors’, ‘dapagliflozin’, ‘non‐diabetic,’ and ‘cardiac amyloidosis’ revealed multiple euDKA reports in diabetic patients [3, 4, 5, 6], a small number in non‐diabetics [2, 6], but no previous reports linking dapagliflozin‐induced eKA with cardiac amyloidosis. Here, SLC5A2 is linked to cardiac amyloidosis.
