Participants with CHIP were older (median [IQR] age, 69.8 [62.3-75.7] vs 61.3 [51.6-69.3] years), more likely to be male (298 of 549 [54%] vs 3321 of 7455 [45%]), and have hypertension (418 of 538 [78%] vs 5086 of 7330 [69%]) compared with those without CHIP. This evidence concerns the gene STUB1 and Hypertension.
