IFNA1 and neoplasm: Notably, subset 5 preferentially infiltrated the tumor core and was negatively enriched for numerous immune pathways critical to anti-tumor defense—including adaptive and innate immune responses, IFN-γ/IFN-α signaling, MHC class II antigen presentation, TNF signaling, and other cytokine pathways (Figures S6 and S7)—suggesting a tumor-supportive phenotype.
