Among 4072 participants in the study, 58.9% were women (n=2397), with mean (±SD) age of 66.2 (±10.3), 21.6% (n=881) had ILF (% predicted PEF < 80%) and 2.5% (n=103) had prevalent dementia in 2014 and 6.9% (n=272) developed dementia over 6 years of follow-up. This evidence concerns the gene FOXK2 and dementia.
