To further explore the infection dynamics, high-resolution time courses (6–48 h post infection) revealed early perinuclear NS1, co-localization of nucleoprotein (NP) with Rab11a (supporting viral ribonucleoprotein (vRNP) recycling-endosome trafficking), and apically biased accumulation of NP with loss of MUC1 and focal nuclear fragmentation as barrier failure emerged (Fig. 4d). The gene discussed is MUC1; the disease is infection.
