Therefore, based on the important role of NKILA, Warburg effect, and autophagy in the development of cholangiocarcinoma, we conjectured that NKILA enhances the Warburg effect, suppresses autophagy and PD‐L1 degradation, and promotes immune escape of ICC by elevating MTX1 and TOMM40 expressions, and meanwhile collected clinical, in vivo, and in vitro evidences. The gene discussed is TOMM40; the disease is intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma.
