Specific to MA10 infection, microglia demonstrated seven significantly down-regulated genes (Ctsd, B2m, Ctss, C1qb, Aldoc, Slc1a2, and C1qa). In contrast, microglia demonstrated 60 significantly up-regulated genes (Apoe, Cd74, Cst7, Ctsd, Ctsb, Cd9, Clec7a etc.) and 12 significantly down-regulated genes (Selplg, Serinc3, Tmem119, Hmgb1, Camk2a, Malat1, Tgfbr1, etc.) that were unique to responses to Aβ pathology (Figure 7B). The gene discussed is TGFBR1; the disease is infection.
