Among non-significant but clinically relevant variables, IL-6 showed a positive but non-significant trend (OR: 1.08, 95% CI: 0.99–1.18, P = .094), while chronic disease (OR: 1.90, P = .200), hypertension (OR: 1.69, P = .328), and diabetes (OR: 2.20, P = .100) all exhibited higher odds of ICU admission without reaching statistical significance (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene IL6 and diabetes mellitus.
