CRP and diabetes mellitus: Higher dNLR quartiles were correlated with improved metabolic profiles: lower CRP (median Q4: 0.2 vs Q1: 0.3; P < .001), reduced HbA1c (Q4: 5.7 ± 1.0% vs Q1: 5.9 ± 1.2%; P = .002), and decreased hypertension/diabetes prevalence (both P < .05).
