Ang II has been widely used to induce hypertension, LV hypertrophy, and heart failure in mice [11, 12, 13] due to its long‐known Ang II receptor type 1 (AT1R)‐mediated vasoconstrictive, hypertrophic, pro‐inflammatory, and metabolic effects [14, 15].
