CDK1 and early-onset autosomal dominant Alzheimer disease: Velutinam is a potent kinase inhibitor, with IC50 values of 0.6 μM against DYRK1A and 1.5 μM against CDK1/cyclin B [33], which makes the species particularly promising against neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, in which those targets contribute to tau pathology and neuronal dysfunction.
