It has recently been reported that allantoin can alleviate cyclophosphamide-induced premature ovarian failure in female rats, associated with a reduction in anestrum; increased estradiol levels; decreased FSH and LH levels; ameliorated apoptosis; and decreased mitochondrial membrane potential, reactive oxygen species levels, and mitophagy in ovarian granulosa cells [80]. Here, BRD2 is linked to primary ovarian failure.
