In the GWAS data by McKay JD et al., high CTSH levels were associated with increased risks of lung adenocarcinoma (IVW: p = 1.72 × 10−4, OR = 1.08, 95% CI = 1.04–1.13) and lung squamous cell carcinoma (IVW: p = 1.79 × 10−2, OR = 1.06, 95% CI = 1.01–1.11). This evidence concerns the gene CTSH and squamous cell lung carcinoma.
