NFKB1 and Alzheimer disease: Notably, the co-administration of strawberry and lemon extracts exhibited the most pronounced anti-inflammatory activity, resulting in the downregulation of TLR4 and NF-κB by 75.3% and 66.4%, and suppression of IL-1β and TNF-α levels by 59.8% and 52.7%, respectively, compared to the AD group (Figure 6).
