Out of these 125 CRG genes, six were identified as important in melanoma diagnosis and prognosis, e.g., ABCC2 (ATP-binding cassette subfamily C member 2), CA14 (Carbonic Anhydrase 14), EGR3 (Early Growth Response 3), FBXW7, (F-box and WD repeat domain containing 7), LDHB (Lactate Dehydrogenase B), and PSEN2 (presenilin 2). This evidence concerns the gene CA14 and melanoma.
