HSPG2 and pachyonychia congenita: Finally, in our recent article, we studied the role of HSPG2 in prostate cancer radioresistance (more information is presented in the following sections) and we showed that high HSPG2 expression in The Cancer Genome Atlas prostate adenocarcinoma patients is correlated with worse biochemical recurrence-free survival [85], supporting the articles that suggested its potential biomarker role in PC [86].
