Overexpression of NPRL2 in NPRL2-deficient and cisplatin-resistant NSCLC cells reactivated the cellular response to cisplatin and promoted tumor suppression activity in vitro and in mouse models [20], which might be linked to the role of overexpressed NPRL2 in promoting DNA damage and ROS production [21].
