IDL was shown to repress inflammatory gene expression [78] associated with T-cell activation, unhealthy skin signature genes (DUSP7, AKR1B10, ARNTL2) and coexpressed IFN response genes within the coexpression module STAT1-57 (IFI1, IFI3, ISG15, IFI44, IFI35), which become activated in psoriasis and some skin cancers. The gene discussed is IFNA1; the disease is skin cancer.
