The univariate analysis confirmed that age ≥ 75, hemoglobin ≥ 11.8 g/dL, albumin ≥ 3.5 g/dL, total cholesterol ≥ 144 mg/dL, cholinesterase ≥ 200 IU/L, FIB-4 index ≥ 5, BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 and DM were significantly associated with sarcopenia in MASH patients with liver cirrhosis, except for Child–Pugh class ≥ B, which was marginally associated in our statistical analysis (Table 3).
