GEPIA2 analysis of the TCGA-OV dataset showed that elevated expression of the anti-apoptotic genes Bcl-2 and Survivin was associated with significantly reduced overall survival (OS) in ovarian cancer patients (log-rank p < 0.01), with median survival decreasing from 52 months in the low-expression group to 38 months in the high-expression group. Here, BCL2 is linked to ovarian cancer.
