It was found that SESN1 and SESN2 could regulate the state of cells to oxidative stress, ER stress and hypoxia by activating AMPK and inhibiting mTOR signaling pathway, and the growth of lung cancer cells in nude mice can be inhibited by inactivating Akt-mTOR cell signaling pathway after SESN2 deletion. This evidence concerns the gene SESN2 and lung carcinoma.
