Low iron (aOR 8.23; 95% CI: 5.87–11.54; p < 0.001), ferritin (aOR 9.72; 95% CI: 6.16–15.34; p < 0.001), folate (aOR 3.13; 95% CI: 2.30–4.26; p < 0.001), albumin (aOR 1.57; 95% CI: 1.31–1.89; p < 0.001), and prealbumin (aOR 1.55; 95% CI: 1.33–1.81; p < 0.001) levels were significantly associated with anemia.
