Meta-analysis from 4 publications (n = 574 patients) showed higher overall incidence of rash in adult ITP patients who received SYK and/or BTK inhibitors when compared to those who received placebo (RR 2.39; 95%CI: 1.01 – 5.70, p=0.05, I2 = 0%, random-effect model) (Table 3). The gene discussed is BTK; the disease is autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura.
