ADIPOQ and Abdominal obesity: For adiponectin, males showed significantly lower levels in those with obesity (6.70 vs. 8.20 μg/mL; p = 0.040), abdominal obesity (6.70 vs. 8.70 μg/mL; p = 0.008) and sarcopenic obesity (5.70 vs. 8.30 μg/mL; p = 0.002).
