ZFAS1 and colorectal cancer: In a meta-analysis encompassing 10 studies (n = 874 patients) across various solid tumors, including glioma, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and HCC, Song et al. [48] demonstrated that elevated ZFAS1 expression was significantly associated with reduced overall survival (OS) (pooled HR = 1.58, 95 % CI: 1.28–1.97, P < 0.001) and increased risk of recurrence-free survival (RFS) events (HR = 1.90, 95 % CI: 1.29–2.79, P = 0.001).
