IGF1 was positively associated with CRC risk (OR = 1.105, 95% CI 1.016–1.203, P = 0.020), whereas both NAP (OR = 0.854, 95% CI 0.779–0.936, P < 0.001) and total protein (OR = 0.765, 95% CI 0.677–0.864, P < 0.001) demonstrated protective effects against CRC development. This evidence concerns the gene IGF1 and colorectal carcinoma.
