CFB and type 2 diabetes mellitus: When the T2D group was compared to controls, nine proteins (serum amyloid P-component—APCS, galectin-3-binding protein—LGALS3BP, complement C2—C2, CFB, C3, KNG1, VTN, SERPINF1 and CNDP1) were present in higher amounts, and three proteins (apolipoprotein D—APOD, gelsolin—GSN and adiponectin—ADIPOQ) in lower amounts.
