In metabolically abnormal obesity, results noted the reduced level of albumin (ALB), hemoglobin subunit alpha (HBA1), hemoglobin subunit beta (HBB), C-reactive protein (CRP), serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 1 (PON1) and haptoglobin-related protein (HPR), while an increased level of alpha-2-HS-glycoprotein (AHSG) was reported [22,23,24]. This evidence concerns the gene HPR and obesity due to melanocortin 4 receptor deficiency.
