FABP3 and transient ischemic attack: Their results demonstrated significantly higher H-FABP levels in individuals with TIA compared to stroke mimics [3.10 ng/mL (IQR 2.13–4.78) vs. 1.70 ng/mL (IQR 1.23–2.38); p < 0.001], suggesting that H-FABP may have potential as a diagnostic marker for TIA (29).
