LEP and Glucose intolerance: We found that the first principal component (PC1) accounted for 50% of total variation, and the greatest contributions to PC1 were from CR, body mass, body temperature, three circulating hormones: leptin, insulin and insulin like growth factor‐1, two factors that relate to glucose intolerance: fasting glucose and area under curve, together with basal metabolic rate and food anticipatory activity (Figure 6A).
